Carnival Cruise Lines will gain access to online blackjack and other games, as well as sports betting services, thanks to a partnership agreement it signed with BetMGM last month.

Under the terms of the agreement, Carnival will offer the online services on more than 50 different ships in the Carnival fleet that call at the company’s US ports. Once these ships reach international waters, the casino and sportsbook can be opened, as can the traditional casinos on the ships. Promotions are also incorporated into the betting products, allowing the two to market the cruises and betting services to potential customers.

The implementation of the online casino will take place in the next few months.

Marty Goldman, Carnival’s Senior Vice President of Global Casino Operations, commented on the deal, “We are extremely proud to be able to offer our guests the excitement and engagement of sports betting and iGaming through our partnership with BetMGM.

“Our two leading global hospitality organizations will offer a wide range of immersive digital content to complement our exceptional onboard casinos.”

Adam Greenblatt, CEO of BetMGM added: “We have found an ideal partner in Carnival Corporation and look forward to offering our sports betting and iGaming products to millions of passengers.”
